This page lists a Summary of Changes in the ForexFeed data platform starting with API Version 2.0.
Current users of any ForexFeed API prior to version 2.0 are encouraged to upgrade to the latest version as soon as possible.
Great efforts have been made to ensure a smooth transition to the new ForexFeed 2.0 data platform. All downloadable APIs are backwards compatible with their previous versions, with the goal being a "drop-in" replacement.
This means that users/developers of a previous version can simply download the new API files and replace their old API files with the new versions. No other changes are required on your end.
Notable changes for API users are the addition of many new Symbol/Pairs and increased decimal precision on most existing Symbols.
Please note that users/developers who pull data manually using HTTP GET will need to make a few changes because the URL format has changed. More information below.
